As Shutdown Ends, Maloney Holding Two Forums In Orange County

The government shutdown came to a tentative end on Friday, but Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney will still hold court over the weekend with a pair of town hall meetings on Saturday.

Maloney announced that he will speak with his constituents on Saturday, Jan. 26 in Orange County during two-hour town-hall type sessions.

The Democrat will first be at Highland Falls Intermediate School on Mountain Avenue at 11 a.m. He will then be hosted by the Orange County Emergency Center on Wells Farm Road in Goshen two hours later.

The nature of the gatherings has not been released by Maloney or his office. It is unclear what topics the politician is planning to speak to the public about.
